Amy Feineman is the founder of Singing Cat Saddlery and most commonly seen face in the field. Amy apprenticed with Master Saddle Fitter Beverly Harrison, and with Adam Ellis’ own apprentice, Carol Patty. She became a qualified WOW Saddle Fitter with David Kempsell in 2018, and works hard to stay up to date on their latest technologies. Her education in traditional saddlery construction and repair with Bev, Carol, and Adam is ongoing, hopefully indefinitely. Amy loves the methodical, analytical nature of saddlery paired with the instant satisfaction of seeing a horse and rider thriving in correctly fitted tack.
Amy grew up in a horse family, and was riding from an early age, focusing mainly on eventing but also dabbling in everything from working cow horse to classical dressage. After graduating from CU with a degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, Amy worked in a toxicology laboratory drug testing race horses. When Mike and Amy moved to Longmont and decided to start a family, she began teaching lessons full time with the support of renowned mustang trainer Sean Davies. As a trainer she began to see the impact of ill-fitting saddles on a larger scale, and was determined to do her part to correct it.
Horse rescue and rehabilitation is a huge passion of Amy’s; she volunteered at the Horse Protection League, including serving on their board of directors for a term. She has also started young horses and worked with both BLM mustangs and horses fresh off the track. In 2003, Amy and her horse Tigger suffered a bad fall that resulted in compex injuries and long rehabilitations for both. Thanks to her background, she is experienced working with “difficult” horses, and working with horses and riders with pain and/or physical limitations.
When not working on saddles, Amy enjoys teaching her daughters, Ada and Lily, to ride and garden.

Jennie Fuller joined the Singing Cat Saddlery Team in 2019 while still apprenticing with Master Saddle Fitter Beverly Harrison. With a riding background in Eventing and Dressage and 15 years spent as a professional groom her understanding of developing equine athletes has given her a wide range of saddle knowledge. After seeing so many young horses come up the FEI levels it’s truly a work of art to see how each piece of the puzzle fits together to help the horse and rider perform at their very best. “My philosophy has always and will always be the horses’ comfort
and well-being come first!”
Originally from Vermont, Jennie relocated to Colorado in 2007 working for various trainers and riders and honing her skills as a groom. “Working as groom you become a little bit of
everything, groomer, vet tech, coach, you are the voice for the horses in your care. Saddle fit is an essential part of making sure those horses have everything they need to be comfortable and happy while performing. I am super excited to be learning how to help horses and riders find that balance and comfort in the equipment they use.”
When not working with saddles or her own horses, Jennie works full time as a Manager for Kokopelli Beer Company in Westminster and enjoys spending time with her other half Mark and
their two dogs Lina and Lilly.

Olivia Cottrill is the newest member of the Singing Cat team. Currently studying to be a veterinary technician, Olivia has worked at several barns in the Longmont area throughout her high school and college years to support her horse addiction. She hopes to find a great long term career in the horse industry, and understanding how saddles are constructed and how to correctly fit them will be an asset. We hope she stays on and continues her saddlery training for as long as possible!!!
Olivia has two wonderful Thoroughbred geldings, Tiamo and GC, and a very spunky yellow lab named Barley.
